Lung David is an elderly Englishman, experienced in many fields, including qualifications as an architect, off shore sailing captain, psychotherapist, commission in the Royal Engineers, and brown belt in karate. Lung David also owned and managed business enterprises including a building company, rented housing, and various retail shops as diverse as antiques, village store, arts and crafts and fish and chips. He lived aboard a catamaran for around eight years and visited many countries. Since retiring he has taken a course in writing, and has been a freelance reporter and author and some of his books have been published. He also enjoys painting and sculpting. His many and varied experiences in many aspects of life are expressed in his writings, sculptures, and paintings.
In 1993 Lung David received a diploma in hypno-analysis and therapy. Since then he has helped many clients to resolve and overcome their personal problems, mainly caused by conditioning, environment, and past trauma, resulting in neurosis and disturbing behaviour and habits. During sessions many and varied emotions and imagery were exposed; Lung David expressed some of those in the painting available in the catalogue.
